About the Event

Chai (aka Tea) is an aromatic concoction and a delicious ritual enjoyed in almost every Indian household. Every home has its own unique recipe and proportion of ingredients to make that perfect cup of chai.

Join Sapna Punjabi-Gupta, founder of beSPICED and a culinary wellness expert for an interactive session and learn about the origin of Indian chai, the art of making a cup of traditional Indian chai and how to serve this warm delicious beverage. Sapna combines her eastern Indian roots and her knowledge of Ayurveda along with her western expertise as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and will discuss the healing properties of chai and how the spices added in chai can be changed based on seasons and to help everyday digestion.

Attendees will enjoy a cup of chai and leave with a recipe card to take with them. You will also have an opportunity to purchase Sapna’s spiced blends and wellness products.
