Join me as I teach the art of kneading, rolling and cooking up Indian flat breads. I will also have a discussion on how to enjoy gluten responsibly from an Ayurvedic perspective and share which spices help with digestion of gluten breads.
This is a hands on class so come prepared to play with dough and practice the art of making rotis and stuffed parathas. The very popular naan bread traditionally requires a clay oven but I will show you my signature stove top version to create this crowd favorite Indian bread that you can easily make at home.
Stuffed Aloo Parathas (Flat Indian Bread stuffed with Spiced Mashed Potatoes);
Stuffed Spinach & Cheese Parathas;
and Stove Top Naan.
The breads will be served with raita, yogurt dip (a traditional accompaniment).
