Just as we take time to put our sweaters away and bring out the spring clothes with change in seasons, we must take time to clean out our pantries and give it a spring reset.
Spring is a great time to freshen up your pantry and stock up on seasonal ingredients. I would love to share my secrets, simple tips as we go through my favorite ingredients and brands and help you build your pantry with vegan, vegetarian and gluten free items. We will walk together various aisles of a local Indian Grocery Store and my goal will be to make you feel comfortable to shop independently for your spices, lentils and other ethnic food items to make it part of your regular grocery shopping.
But first, we will begin with a scrumptious lunch buffet at a nearby Indian restaurant where I will go over a brief discussion about how to stock your pantry with Indian ingredients and review the packet with useful sheets that you can use when you grocery shop the next time.
