Dallas, Texas

I am back after a brief online hiatus!

July 27, 2018

Namaste Dears,

I am sure many of you might be wondering where has Sapna been the last few weeks. I haven't sent out a newsletter since June 1st to update you on my events and share my thoughts. I have even received a few sweet messages to just check in on me. It has been a real busy summer on all fronts. I have been somewhat active on Instagram, my favorite social platform but even that has been hard at times. Well, I have missed you. Hope you are doing well and creating some fun summer memories with your dear ones.

Summer madness started early on in May with a month long weird vibe. From a spooky fall to a weird and even spookier car accident surviving a head on collision, I thought I was done with my crazy for a while. But as they say, bad times comes in three. Two weeks later, I passed out at an airport and went back chilling out in an ambulance with handsome and super kind EMS officers. These incidents definitely made me slow down and hit the pause button for sometime as I had to gather strength for June.

June was a whirlwind with my home filled with family from India. We had 10 of us in our home for 21 days and our time just flew by. There was lots of fun, laughter, cooking and entertaining and showing my family around town in Dallas and a quick visit to San Antonio. In addition, we decided to start an outdoor project which we thought would be done in a few weeks, before my family came to visit so we could enjoy the space together......but as all remodel work goes, after 12 weeks of breaking ground and my family come and gone.....we are still.....not done. After all the excitement, and accumulated physical exhaustion we have been trying to stay cool and calm in this torturous Texas summer.

Another very important update on my business side of things. Naivedhya is also undergoing a face lift. I have been working on this very important project for months now and hoping to share more details very soon. So July has been a month of putting my head down, relaxing some, working hard lots so I can be strong to spread my wings wide soon.

August is shaping up good. My mom is back in town from her India break. I am so ready to have her back home. And it is Sapna's birthday month....yay! Please include me in your prayers and send positive wishes my way. My crazy dreams, fearless passion and determination along with your love and support keeps me motivated me to walk along this exciting adventurous trail of life.

Lastly, I know it is super last minute, but I am teaching a super fun cooking workshop tomorrow...yes, tomorrow, Saturday 7/28 at Central Market in Southlake. I am told we are almost full but could squeeze in a couple more folks. Details below for tomorrow's workshop and also few other things coming up.

Love you
Stay Cool, Calm and a little Spiced!
