October is moving way faster than expected. I can't believe I am prepping for the holiday season already. My kitchen is busy with roasting and grinding of spices to make fresh batches of my spice products as I showcase them in my favorite holiday markets soon. Fall is my favorite season. I love sweater weather and cozing up with warm chai during the cooler months. I hope you are making mindful changes with the seasonal shifts. It is important not only to change our closets but also our pantries and our lifestyle with the rhythms of nature.

During Fall season, some of us may feel increase in anxiety, insomnia and erratic sleep patterns. According to Ayurveda, the increase in Vata energy contributes to this erratic energy. If one already has Vata in their constitution & live in an area with a lot of Vata (dry, windy regions) or travel a lot for work, it can make things a little more uncomfortable.
